Jaquzzi is on the upper deck, towels are available from the concierge… 😉
Zingaro is a well-fitted blue water cruiser built with comfort and safety in mind. Hot water, 40L/hr watermaker, 400Ah(24v) of Lithium batteries (so you can leave the lights on 😉 Each bunk has a USB port, adjustable fan, and reading lights. There are two heads (sink, toilet and shower) on the boat. The Captain and crew will stock the boat with plenty of snacks as well as provisions for meals each day on passage (breakfast, lunch and dinner of some sort) and drinks from the on-board bar once the boat is docked. Please feel free to bring along your favorite snacks for your night watches. Plan to spend your days and nights sailing, fishing, cooking, reading and looking at the stars.
Yes. This boat comfortably sleeps 7. You will get a private bunk/room depending on the situation (couples obviously have preference for the bedroom). All bunks are setup with Lee cloths for comfortable sleeping on passage. You will have a place to store your personal items, space in the bathroom for your toiletries. The heads are shared between all.
No. You will still need to sign the photo waiver, but we will do our best to respect your privacy and not film you purposefully. I have had many Patrons onboard who wished not to be on film, and therefore the world never even heard about them 🙂 I will caution that it is possible you could be in the background for a shot we need to take quickly, in which case you could be inadvertently filmed. If that is a problem I would be more than happy to recommend you to another boat for a similar experience, sans camera. 🙂
The Captain has Chrone’s disease, so we know all about dietary restrictions. We will try to work with whatever those restrictions are, but within reason. It is not feasible for Ana to make 12 different meals per day, so basically, tell us your restriction, and if we’re cool with that being our restriction as well, we’re good. If you can’t eat fish you’re probably screwed. 😉 (just kidding)
Sure thing! Starlink is aboard! We also have a tracker link for your friends/family to watch our progress live. Warning: Friends and Family may become insanely jealous!
Yes. Sailing is inherently dangerous. As Captain is my job to teach you how to use every piece of safety gear on the boat, and what to do in case of emergencies, in the event you’re the only one left with the capacity to do so you can save our asses! There will be in depth safety briefs. Hypothetical scenarios about man over board, flooding, fire, high winds, rough seas, equipment malfunctions, and more. I plan on coming back from this trip, and if it’s your job to save my ass you’re going to damn well know how to do it.
Zingaro needs a LOT of stuff to make this happen. You can click on our Amazon wish list, or directly donate through our PayPal. Thanks!!!
